Qian Wu, also known as Hetty, completed her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Worcester, Massachusetts. MCPHS is a private university focused on medical and health-related science programs and located in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area of Boston. Hetty practiced acupuncture and herbs as a student intern at the University where she would treat and diagnose patients based on intake, as well as pulse and tongue examination. Along with practicing other ancient Chinese treatments such as Moxibustion, Cupping and Gua Sha; Hetty uses the Dr. Tan and Master Tung's style of acupuncture.

With Dr. Tan's Acupuncture method, needles are placed at specific points that are distant from your pain or dysfunction. This draws the blockage away from the site of pain and frees the flow of energy. Pain is relieved, symptoms are reduced, and freedom of movement is restored.

Before joining the EBOM Clinic, Hetty worked as an Officer in the Assessment Center and Training Department for Volkswagen Investment Co. in Beijing, China. There, she served as a contact person for VW Group Academy (Germany) in China. She planned, coordinated, communicated and moderated the Management and Leadership Assessment Centers. She also handled much of the recruiting for manager and above level staffing.

In 2011, Hetty worked at the Confucius Institute in Munich, Germany as a Chinese teacher. Four years prior, she served as an Officer in Learning & Development at Ernst & Young in China. There, she built-up and renewed training systems by planning and scheduling yearly training classes as well as provided evaluations post-training. Easily seen, are the similarities between Hetty's past work experiences and the process of treating new patients with acupuncture. The process of identifying the underlining issues - then developing a strategy and implementing a holistic process to help heal the patient naturally is what the EBOM Clinic is all about.

Please consider Hetty for your Chinese and Oriental Medicine needs. Dr. (Hetty) Wu is a practitioner at the EBOM - Omaha clinic.
