Dr. Xu had 8 years of full-time education of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, and over 20 years of experience in Oriental Medicine related fields.

She received her Master of Medicine degree from Guangzhou University of  Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the top TCM universities in China, followed by working as an Assistant Professor at the university for three ​years. 


Dr. Xu also holds an M.S. degree of Counseling from South Dakota State University.

The practitioner is NOT a licensed Medical Doctor to practice Western Medicine or prescribe drugs

Dr. Xu holds her credential of National Certified Counselor (NCC) issued by National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). 

Dr. Yanchun Xu * 


As a native of mainland China, Dr. Yanchun Xu graduated from Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China, studying Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (a 5-year full-time program). 

During her over 20 years of TCM experience, Dr. Xu has also conducted multiple clinical investigations, published twelve peer-reviewed papers and edited/co-edited six books in the scope of Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Xu is a Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.) certified by National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is also a member of American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).

​Dr. Xu is a current Licensed Acupuncturist (Lic. Ac.).
